What the tool does
The detector gives a statistical estimate of how likely text is to be AI generated. Results are a likelihood, not proof. Detectors can wrongly flag human writing, especially short, formal, casual or non native English text.
How you may not use results
Do not use a result from this tool as the only basis for an academic, hiring, disciplinary or legal decision, or to accuse anyone of misconduct. Any decision about a person should include human review and other evidence.
Your content
You keep all rights to text you check. Only submit text you have the right to share. Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information.
Fair use of the service
Free checks are limited (currently 5,000 characters per check for guests and 50,000 for free accounts, with hourly and daily caps). Do not try to get around limits, scrape the service, overload it, or use automated access without permission.
Accounts
One account per person. Keep your password private. We may suspend or remove accounts that misuse the service. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.
Ads and third party services
The service may show ads and uses outside providers for hosting, bot checks and email, as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third party sites or ads you choose to visit.
No warranty and limits of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy or availability. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for any decision made, or damage caused, based on a result.
Changes
We may update these terms or the service. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
